Dominio Fournier Reserva - Spain
Dominio Fournier Reserva is a deep Ribera de Duero, with notes of black fruit, mineral touches, and well- integrated oak, which favors complexity, and tames in the mouth the high tannic load that nature forms in our vineyard thanks to the mixture of our climate, our soil and the native variety: Tinta Fina.
Vineyard Features:
The plots that are part of Dominio Fournier Reserva 2020, are planted in goblet, on a beautiful alluvial terrace at the foot of the Duero River; a river that accompanies us for more than 2km in a meander that delimits and embraces our property in a natural way.
In most of the plots, the soils stand out for their layer of boulders, their low concentration of organic matter which, together with their low water retention capacity, extremely limits the vigor and production of each vine. The average yields are only 1,000 to 2,000 kilograms per hectare. There are 50 hectares of Tinta del País with an average age of over 47 years.
