Cuvee Louis Klipfel Gewürztraminer - France
Intense golden yellow, typical of the variety.
Delicate fragrance of rose petals and exotic fruits such as lychee.
A well-balanced wine with a long finish. The aromas are like those on the nose: rose petals, lychee, exotic fruit, a little bitterness.
The vineyard stretches from Bas-Rhin to Haut-Rhin between the Vosges mountains and the Alsace plain, from Marlenheim in the north to Thann in the south, reaching 120km in length and 4km in width.
Traditional: grapes harvested at perfect maturity, temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation. The wine is then racked, filtered and bottled.
Alsace has a mosaic of very different terroirs, with limestone predominating. Each terroir brings its own unique character to the grapes.
