BODEGAS TÍO PEPE ONE OF THE WORLD’STOP WINE TOURISM DESTINATIONS

The ranking of the “The World’s Best Vineyards” has rated Bodegas Tío Pepe the 21st best tourist destination on the planet, the second best in Spain and the only place in D.O. Jerez to feature in the listing. Its unique wine tourism proposition, with its “Summer at the Winery” highlight, is behind this fresh success.

Jerez de la Frontera, July 2023.- History, authenticity, emotion, customisation and sustainability define the visitor experience at Bodegas Tío Pepe, one of the best wine tourism destinations in the world, according to “The World’s Best Vineyards”. Standing in 21st place and only the second Spanish and sole D.O. Jerez winery to feature in the list, this new success is confirmation of just how unique the Tío Pepe wine tourism proposition is.

From the “Summer at the winery” season, with its “Tío Pepe Festival” concerts, “Tío Pepe Comedy”, “Solera y Compás” flamenco and the gastronomic delights offered by the Restaurante Pedro Nolasco and the Cenas de las Estrellas (Dinners by the Stars), to the tours of the winery that take in the patios and its old vine-trellised streets, all the experiences are designed to be unforgettable.

This foray into the world of Sherry can continue even in the Hotel Bodega Tío Pepe, the world’s first Sherry Hotel, located inside the winery. With its 27 rooms and intimate, comfortable spaces, this boutique hotel just a few metres from Jerez’s Cathedral and Alcázar, affords a unique, exclusive and unforgettable experience.

Indeed, a visit to Bodegas Tío Pepe provides visitors with the opportunity to gain a real insight into the world of Jerez, its wines and brandies, culture, history, heritage, landscapes and gastronomy. Expressed as unique experiences, these values have once again left their mark on the wine and tourism experts who voted to determine this year’s ranking of the world’s best wine tourism destinations.
