There is aromas of toffee, chocolate and bags of dried figs, prunes and raisins. Hints of walnut liqueur and hazelnut cream. Coffee. With a touch of sandalwood and a hint of lemon peel too. Not too sweet and the complexity is high. On the palate the balance between sweetness, acidity is good. Deep oaky notes again, leathery notes and dark chocolate with a certain heat as well, from the many herbs and spices such as cloves, and soft pepper. Also flavors of roasted nuts, Espresso and some tangy lemon in the background. Serve fresh room temperature, not cold. Serve in the traditional sherry glass to half capacity, to fully appreciate its superb fragrance and intense bouquet acquired in the silence and shade of the cellars, throughout the long years.
