Using the links along the right-hand side of the page, there are a number of categories to help refine your search. Our search engine may find what you’re looking for even quicker.
As you add your products to your trolley in the top right-hand corner, you can continually check its contents and edit as you please. You will also be able to do this when you go to finalise your order.
When making your first order you will have the option to register with your e-mail address and chosen password. Doing so allows you to save and view your orders, reorder more quickly and has a number of other benefits. However registering is not required and you can still check out without registering.
You will then be asked to provide a delivery address and proceed with payment through our secure checkout. Confirmation will be confirmed via an automated e-mail to confirm your order and you will also be able to access your account at any time to view all the details of your orders.
We pick and dispatch your online orders from our warehouse. Unfortunately there may be the odd occasion of an out of stock product or a change in vintage but we will ensure you that you will always receive a substitute of equal or greater value. You can browse our full range of wines online and add them to your basket. There is a minimum order of 6 bottles when shopping with us online.
We take security seriously and have chosen to work only with the very best secure payment providers. Your payment details are so secure that we cannot even see them, so you can be sure that your details will never be divulged to a third party. You will need to provide a valid credit or debit card number, delivery address and contact phone number when you place an order. If you create an account we will store delivery addresses and contact phone numbers for subsequent orders however for security reasons we do not store your credit card details and you will need to enter these each time you place an order.
A secure, reliable payment processing is of primary importance to our customers and our business, our online payment processing is handled by Stripe Payments. You are entitled to a cooling-off period of 7 working days, which begins on the day after you receive delivery of your order. During the cooling-off period, you may cancel your order for any reason. Upon cancellation, we will make the necessary arrangements to facilitate the return of the order and will reimburse you within 30 days. While we are more than happy to help if you wish to return goods that are not faulted or damaged you will be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods.
In the unfortunate case of your wines arriving faulty or damaged you should notify us as soon as possible. If the wine is visibly damaged on delivery you should refuse delivery and request that the wine is returned to us. We will then offer you the choice of either a replacement or a full refund.
A Gift Receipt entitles the holder to an exchange / credit note only.
All refunds will be issued in accordance with the original method of payment.
Gift Vouchers are not refundable.

The prices for goods displayed for sale on the site are inclusive of VAT and Duty at rates valid as of time of purchase. There are no additional charges as we offer free delivery. All prices are quoted in Euro. They price is as per bottle or per case as marked. We do not accept responsibility for typographical errors. Prices can change at any time without notice.
Whilst we work hard to ensure the details and pricing on our website to be accurate, occasionally errors may appear. Please note, while we try to keep our product images fully up-to-date, the bottle in the image displayed for any wine may vary slightly from the one received due to a change in vintage or packaging design.
If you have ordered a product that is erroneously described or priced, we will contact you prior to delivery to advise you of the correct details. You may choose to cancel your order if you are unhappy receiving the product with the correct description and price. We reserve the right to change prices at any time.
By completing and submitting the electronic order form on the site, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.
By making that offer to purchase goods, you are also authorising Wines of The World and any payment processor used by the company to pre validate the Debit or Credit card presented for payment for the full value of the goods contained in your basket. Your card will not be charged until the offer to purchase has been accepted by Wines of The World and the goods have been dispatched by us or third parties acting under our instruction
We will confirm acceptance of your order by email. This confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide on your order details. Whether or not you receive an email, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.

We ship throughout the Republic of Ireland for free. Delivery is typically 1-2 working days see below for more details.
We do not deliver outside of the Republic of Ireland.
Deliveries do not take place on weekends, operating only Monday to Friday.
Order before 1 pm Monday through Thursday for next day delivery. All other orders are dispatched the next working day, as follows:
Your wines will be packaged safely to avoid any breakages, and you are backed at all times by our guarantee if any breakages occur prior to arriving at your door we will take care of this for you. You will be sent an email with a link to track your delivery.Our courier will also call you before they deliver to you and in the event that you are not at home, the courier will take further instructions from you in order to delivery elsewhere toa neighbour or at your local post office. The delivery will need to be signed for by a person over 18 years of age.
The minimum order for delivery from our wine list is six bottles which can be mixed.
Deliveries are made during business hours (usually between 8 AM and 5 PM) and somebody must be present to take delivery and sign for it. The courier will call you before they deliver. If you are not at home and have not answered your phone to make other delivery arrangements the courier will leave a slip to inform you which post office depot your wines can be collected from. Please note we are unable to arrange for the courier to deliver wines outside business hours. If you think you (or the recipient) won't be home to accept the wine you can choose to have it delivered to a business address however this address must be selected as the ship to address at our checkout page. It is mandatory that a contact number is provided for all delivery addresses.
Goods must be received by a person 18 years of age or older. Where any of our drivers are in doubt as to the age of the person receiving the goods, they reserve the right to request proof of age and / or retain the goods until they can be received by a person of or above the legal age to purchase alcohol.
In the event of your wine not arriving or you being notified of a failed delivery within three working days, please contact us.
At peak times, particularly Christmas, your wine may take longer to arrive so we do ask you to place your orders as early as possible to avoid disappointment. If you do have any special requirements regarding delivery please contact us and we will do our utmost to facilitate you.
Wines of The World gift vouchers are available to be spent online at www.winesoftheworld.ie to redeem a Wines of The World online gift voucher, shop as usual on our website and proceed to checkout. During checkout you’ll be asked to enter the code for the voucher you wish to redeem. After entering the gift voucher code, your order will be automatically updated with credit to the value of the voucher. If there’s any balance to pay, you can use a debit or credit card in the usual way. You must spend the full value of the voucher in one transaction. Please note that vouchers are valid for one year from the original date of issue.
