This wine begins with aromas of ripe dark fruit and green pepper. The wine tastes of lots of blackberry and blueberry flavours but also spice, oak and herb notes. This wine has lots of sweet fruit but it doesn’t overwhelm. The Casa Silva finishes with a good amount of oak and a little lingering tobacco.
The wine pairs nicely with a wide range of dishes from meaty fish, white and Red meat, game and poultry. A broad range of herbs and spices such as mint, nutmeg, garlic and chives can be used to draw out the flavours of this wine
